"Great Love, Share Your Life
With the One You Love"

When I was in my teenage years I thought I could never have a great love. I thought that no man could ever want to be with me, care for me, let alone father my children. I had a few rough relationships, but when I started changing my thoughts about men and myself, I attracted my husband.

It was not until I started loving my body and myself, that I came across the love of my life. And to be honest I had to adjust my "wants" in a man a bit. When you´re young you dream of a knight in a shining armor on a white horse to rescue you from all that is making you feel miserable and that he alone can make you happy.

I learned at a very early age that all men are cheaters. That there was no way to find my great love, because there was no way a man could be faithful to me and trust is very important in a relationship. Without trust there´s a big chance a relationship won´t last. And I believe that goes for any relationship.

And after being cheated on in two relationships, I had my believes confirmed. I decided right then and there that this was not going to happen to me again. I started affirming positive things about men and visualizing the perfect man for me and what it would be like to share my life with him.

It took some time and effort, but I am now married to a great man. He is faithful to me, loves me and is a great husband and father to my children. We go through our ups and downs, but it´s trust, love and communication that turns our downs into ups.

"What Does It Take?"

It took me learning to love myself and my body to be able to get my great love. You see if you don´t love who you are it´s very hard to accept somebody else´s love. You will always feel unloved, no matter what the other person does for you or how hard (s)he tries to show you (s)he loves you.

What is also very important is to be clear about what type of person and relationship you want, but to be willing to let go of that desire and give someone who might not be so "perfect" a chance. We all have our good and bad stuff and if you believe you are the greatest person on the planet and that everybody loves you than that is the kind of people you will attract into your life.

If you are able to accept yourself completely, you´ll be able to accept another person as well, just the way (s)he is. You´ll be open and willing to share your love with him or her.

But what is most important is to always have faith that the Universe or God Power or however you like to call it, will give you what you believe you deserve. And of course you deserve to have a great love!
