A lot of us want to change our lives. We feel things are not going the way they're supposed to go, but we are finding it hard to make the changes it takes to have a better life.
Do you have what it takes to change? Think about it!

Read the above proverb again.
When I first read it, I just knew that this was so true. We go through life pursuiing all kinds of riches and the things we feel will make us happy, but at the end of the day it will be our purpose, given to us by God or however you prefer calling this higher power, that will make us happy.
I have spend quite some time thinking about what could be my purpose. I've read a few books, but I have to be honest and say that I don't have a clear picture yet. I think I'm not the only one dealing with this and feeling great about yourself is just a start, at least in my opinion.
I can tell you though that my life has never been better than it is now. Something I'm very grateful for. It has taken me some time and determination to get to where I am, but the most important thing I think you need, to improve your life, is the ability to change.
There is no way you can stay the same and have a better life or feel great about who you are. I feel I need to explain that a bit more, because it might sound like you're not ok the way you already are and need to change who you are.
Who you are at the core is something you cannot change, no matter how hard you try. What you can change, are your thoughts and beliefs. And what's even more important, your reaction to your circumstances. I recently learned something that has made a big change in my life and I want to share that with you.
Expressing your emotions is the best thing you can do for yourself. Unexpressed emotions can cause a lot of problems in your life. The reason for that, is that they will do whatever it takes to be expressed. You might have noticed that the same things keep happening to you and everytime they do, you feel a certain way. Disappointment, anger, shame, the list goes on and on.
Now how do you stop this from happening? Express your emotions. Do it in a way that works best for you. If it's anger, you could yell and scream, hit a pillow, write a hate letter, anything to let the anger out.
In order to do this, you'll have to change the way you look at your experiences in life. Most of them are there to help you express an emotion or to bring you joy. We are "feeling beings".
