Due to some Internet connection problems I was not able to send you a newsletter last month. I apologize for that.

This month I would like to talk about appreciation. Being grateful to yourself is so important and very necessary to be able to feel great about yourself.

I hope my message will bring you closer to the great life you deserve.

I don't know whether you've heard of the law of attraction yet, so I'll just try and explain it as best as I can. Basically the law of attraction says "like attracts like". This means that where you put your focus on, you will get more of. It is a law of the universe. One of the many. This law has been introduced to a lot of people by the Secret. (Google it and you'll find out more about it).

Showing appreciation is a great way of attracting more joy and happiness in your life. And I believe that appreciating yourself for who you are is the best way to feeling great about yourself.

A lot of people are dissatisfied with themselves. Most of us are always looking for a better body, life, relationship and what more. We do not realize that we already have so much to be grateful for. The mere fact that you are able to read this message means that you are part of the 10% of people on this planet who have Internet. That is something to be grateful for.

Here's an exercise I would like you to do. Take out a piece of paper and write down the things you are grateful for in yourself, the things you appreciate about you. Not the material things you have around you, but what it is about you that you could not do without. The things I would write down are for example, my body. Without it I would not even "be here". My smile, which I know brings joy to others as well as to me. My ability to love my children, my husband, the rest of my family, my friends and just to be able to love...

I hope you get the picture. Now, if you would focus your attention on those characteristics of yourself, you would notice so much more great things about yourself... which leads you to, ofcourse, feel great about yourself.
